sentosa...

oh ya... forgot to say bout my job orientation... the toot dream lah... make me forget bout everything... heh... anyway yesterday went for a job briefing kind of thing... had a rather long lecture by the retail manager... she was telling us bout sentosa island... bout the core values, vision of the sentosa management group... then she gave us (4 of us) an introduction of the retail shops in sentosa...

well... there's 7 of them... all tourists shops.... selling souvenirs... gifts... and all at the main attractions of sentosa lah... 3 of them are situated near the beaches... but damn... retail manager sharren told us (all guys) that most of the beach outlets would be manned by gals only... so yup... no beach babes for me...

then after the lecture, we went to get our uniforms, name tags and stuff lah... heng ar... not wearing the toot hawaiian shirt... but the white polo tee... so if u see white polo tee on sentosa island, they are the retail department one... then after collecting uniforms, we were supposed to go for some exploration to get ourselves familiar with the island lah... was supposed to go to 2 of the main attractions, Images of Singapore & Merlion... but heng ar... the lecture by sharren was so so long... until the attractions also close liao... so in the end we kena forced to watch musical fountain... heh... actually not tat bad... cos yesterday, the time we spent on sentosa island... we were paid for it... haha... so actually we were paid to watch musical fountain lah... not bad lor...

mmm... i'll be starting work next thurs... i'll be working part time from now till ord lah (ssssh cannot tell one...) so most prob only working on weekends and on my army off days... but after ord... will be working close to 5 days a week lah... next thurs will be starting at the Merlion outlet... sharren say might switch us around the outlets so we can get more exposure lah... mmm... i hope the job would be rather fun... : )
