had a calling...

i'm in camp right now... no one is online which i wanna chat to... was surfing thru the boring internet... scouring thru all the news and watever info tat i was interested in and tat i could get my hands on...

then suddenly, i decided to re-visit www.nba.com, a website tat i havent been to since erm... j1? j2? i dunno... been a long time since i last watched a basketball match... been even longer since i last touched a basketball or stepped onto a court... mmm... i making myself sound like i was a professional player... or at least one who represented schools and stuff... haha... no la... i used to be a recreational player (a not bad one even though i'm like quite short la, dun believe can ask charles k...) though my definition of recreation is like almost everyday in the neighbourhood basketball court... haha... and actually studying for my O level history there... tat was the kind of basketball craze i was... could skipped lessons just to catch the 'live' broadcast of important matches...

as the nba website began to load, i chanced upon this very familiar name... Scottie Pippen... to those who knows basketball... tat's the guy who's been quietly supporting Michael Jordan (my shifu) on the court... lifting him up to where he is now...

anyway ya... the news is tat the Bulls are retiring Pippen's jersey... following his retirement from the game... tat's like one of the greatest achivement a player can get la... tat means from the moment they retire ur jersey onwards, no other players in the same team would be able to wear tat jersey anymore lor... (my shifu retired his no. 23 jersey quite sometime liao..)

then was reading the article bout his jersey retirement ceremony, then see alot of familiar names... Jordan, Phil Jackson, Dennis Rodman... these were the men who i actually idolised la... back when i was in pri 6... haha... i seldom idolised ppl la... but they were like erm... THE MEN... THE TEAM... Chicago Bulls... wooo... haha...

reading the article and seeing all these men which i used to idolised... wah... brings back lots of memories... the ppl i met on the court... the games i used to play... the stuff (stupid, amusing, sometimes quite amazing) i do on the court... i suddenly got the URGE to look for a ball... go back to the court i used to play on... AND PLAY... haha... fun leh... those times...
